Earlier this year, the Ellensburg Big Band took the opportunity to record a live album. This collection of jazz and swing classics was recorded on August 16, 2018 in the CWU Jazz studio by a gifted recording/mixing engineer, Mike Allen of MARS Studio with the assistance of our talented drummer Marshall Bilodeau.
Our goal was to capture and preserve a point in time in the history of this surprising band. The album features some of the phenomenal soloists we are privileged to play with. We hope you can hear and feel the joy we had recording it.
